Michael Rigby Associates scoops prestigious Agency of the Year title in 2004 Construction Marketing Awards
Fact-based PR and marketing specialist Michael Rigby Associates (MRA) was announced Agency of the Year in The Construction Marketing Awards 2004 in London. The awards are organised by EMAP Construction Network and supported by CIMCIG (Chartered Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group). The Award for Agency of the Year was open to any agency within the sector, whether advertising, business development or PR that has performed for clients, changed perceptions and made a measurable difference. Tracy Collins, Head of Events at Emap commented: “The prestigious Awards, now in their fourth year, are universally recognised as a unique and highly regarded measure of excellence in construction marketing and business development. Entrants for Agency of the Year had to demonstrate how they have built successful relationships with their clients, as well as proving how they strive to understand and work with clients to develop a measurable, relevant brief with clearly defined deliverables. Michael Rigby Associates not only fulfilled these criteria, but also proved the value of strategic planning and performance measurement. They proved how they consistently deliver successful results - time and time again.”
Fiona Lund, Business Development Director adds: “Although measuring results and demonstrating that PR works is still unusual in the building industry, it has become a major issue and objective in marketing and PR. It is now recognised that demonstrating success through measurement is the new best practice, and agencies are being urged to do it. Clients need to know that PR does work, and does contribute directly to growth and profitability which is exactly what we aim to do. Receiving this award, especially on our first attempt is a superb third party endorsement of this approach.”
